Genuine Salvation, The Only Key To Heaven.

Genuine Salvation, The Only Key To Heaven.

Salvation is the process of being saved or the state of having been saved from the foretold torments of hell.

Salvation means being saved from the power of sin and from hell, the eternal penalty of that sin.

Through the process of salvation, we are freed from everything that could prevent us from enjoying eternal life with God. Other common terms for salvation are being saved, going to heaven, eternal life, everlasting life, the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven.

Salvation is the most vital aspect of the christendom. The race to heaven can only be made complete when salvation is present.

Every believer has a core mandate of being saved to have assurance and full guarantee to the pleasures and gains of heaven.

All people who have ever lived, Christian and non-Christian, will face a final judgment to determine their eternal fate (Matthew 5:29-30, 25:31-46; John 5:25-29, Romans 14:10-12, Revelation 20:11-15). The Bible sometimes says a person is "saved" when he or she becomes a Christian (Acts 2:46-47, 16:31-34), but more than that, "saved" refers to being granted eternal life at the final judgment (Mark 13:13, Luke 13:23-24, 18:26-27, James 2:14 ).

Mark 10:24-27 also introduces the idea that salvation is a gift from God, not something we earn by our own efforts.

It is very important to walk out our salvation consistently and jealously without allowing a stain on our garment once we get on track.

1. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ: Acts 16:31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."

John 20:31 "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."

John 6:40 "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."

2. Confess your sins and repent: Like Adam and Eve a lot of people make excuses for sin, but we should not do this. We are all free to choose whether or not we sin. But what is sin?
1 John 3:4 "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

3. Confess Christ as our Saviour in word and deed: Luke 12:8, 9 "Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God."

Acts 9:20 "And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God."

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

Acts 26:22, 23 "Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should show light unto the people, and to the Gentiles."

4. Be baptised: Mark 16:15, 16 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Acts 22:16 "And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord."

1 Peter 3:21 "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:"

Titus 3:5 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"

1. You must be a believer of the word first.

2. Flee sins and inquities.

3. Do not neglect the gathering of the brethren.

4.Give yourself to exhortation and meditation of the word.

5. Obey God's commandment.

6. Maintain peace, love and integrity with all men.

In conclusion, salvation is important to heavenly journey and we are strangers on Earth, we all must work out our salvation so as to reign in heaven with Christ.
